Time to beat the summer heat with roasted cherry vanilla yogurt popsicles – all you need is 4 ingredients to make this simple and healthy sweet treat!
Saaaaaweet summertime. Let’s cool off with a popsicle, shall we?
I’m so excited because I am guest posting on my friend Katie’s blog – Personally Paleo. Katie is currently travelling through Ireland and I am BEYOND jealous. 4 years ago, almost to the day, Pat and I were travelling in Ireland and he proposed to me on the top of the Cliffs of Moher. #hearteyesemoji Literally, the most amazing trip.
So that’s where Katie is and I am helping her out by sharing one of my new favorite summer recipes…
Roasted Cherry Vanilla Yogurt Popsicles!
These beauties are seriously a breeze to make – here is what you need:
- Cherries
- Black cherry yogurt – I used siggi’s.
- Vanilla yogurt – I used siggi’s.
- Dark chocolate
You’re right, there is dairy in this recipe. So the recipe is not paleo. BUT, this recipe would work just as well with non-diary yogurts. Let me know if you try it!
The key to this recipe is roasting the cherries. Sure you could just chop them up and mix them into the yogurt; but roasting the cherries transforms their tart flavor into something much sweeter. So, given my sweet tooth, I highly recommend it.
P.S. LOOK at those cherry chunks.
Make sure you head on over to Katie’s site for the recipe!
