Made with only 5 ingredients in under 20 minutes, these grilled steak fries are an easy way to cook with purpose and grill the goodness this summer!
This post is sponsored by Frontier Co-op. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting Hungry by Nature and the brands that make it possible! #CookWithPurpose #GrillTheGoodness
Sometimes I feel like a broken record. Whenever summer rolls around, I preach about grilling. Grilling meats and fish and veggies. And OMG let’s grill pizza!
But that’s okay. Because grilling is evvvvverything in the summer. The window of opportunity to grill in Chicago is a lot smaller than in other, more moderate climates. And I do my best to make the most of it.
So let’s make the most of it!
Oh hello perfectly seasoned and golden brown pockets of potato heaven. It’s nice to see you again.

As a reader of Hungry by Nature, you know that my recipes are focused around REAL food made with simple and wholesome ingredients, and that everything is seasoned with salt and pepper.
That is why I am so excited to partner with Frontier Co-op on this post! Frontier Co-op sources their spices from growers who are committed to growing quality products in a sustainable way and with ethical trade. And because they work so closely with their farmers, they are able to impact communities around the globe and provide their customers (you and me!!) with high quality products.
And my favorite Frontier Co-op spice? Pink Himalayan Fine Grind Sea Salt!
Pink Himalayan salt is a great option to use in place of your traditional table salt. I could go on and tell you all the science-y reasons why pink Himalayan sea salt is better for you than table salt, but I’m not going to.
All you need to know if this: Pink Himalayan sea salt is just SALT. Salt in purest form. Traditional table salt is heavily processed and filled with other junk that I definitely don’t want to put into my body.
Got it? Good.
I use it in place of traditional salt when seasoning meats, veggies, sauces, and brines. And its subtle flavor makes it fabulous as a finishing salt. Let’s grill!

I totally know what you mean about taking that grilling season and milking it for all it’s worth. We love grilling during the summer, and one of our favorite meals is chicken wraps. Also steak fries are THE BEST. I love how thick they are. They just seem so substantial.
Right?! You have to make the most of it! Thanks Emily – they are seriously substantial and so so good.
