HELLLLO first dessert of the decade!
Hello, HELLO to my all-time fave, no-bake, nostalgic dessert that satisfies my sweet tooth every day of the week.
GRANOLA BUTTER RICE CRISPY BARS
I really cannot stop eating granola butter. I’ve been slathering it on toast, dunking slices apples straight into the jar, and drizzling it on ice cream.
Oh yea, and adding it to my rice crispy treats!
Granola butter… ever heard if it?
Probably not, because I invented it!
So what the heck is granola butter made of?
Granola butter is a mixed nut butter made from Hungry by Nature’s original flavor of grain free granola – maple cinnamon! It is a mix of cashews, almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pecans, coconut flakes, cinnamon, salt, and a little maple syrup.
It is heavenly.

How do you make chocolate rice crispy bars with granola butter?
The making is easy! And it is totally no-bake. Blessings. Blessings. Blessings.
Prepare your pan. Line an 8″ or 9″ square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides.
Combine the marshmallows and granola butter. Melt 1 Tablespoon coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Turn off heat, add granola butter, and whisk until fully incorporated. You have to work quickly here!
Add cereal. Working quickly, add cereal to granola butter mixture and stir to coat. Transfer to prepared pan and press down very firmly with the bottom of a heavy glass or measuring cup to compact.
Top with chocolate. Melt chocolate and remaining 1 Tablespoon coconut oil. Pour over bars and sprinkle with sea salt. Chill until firm, 30–40 minutes.
Chill and serve! Remove 5-10 minutes before serving to let them warm up slightly before cutting or the chocolate will crack. Serve at room temperature! Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Love it! Gluten free desserts are getting so good, even non-GF people like me can’t tell the difference most of the time.
