All the goodness of granola without the grains! This paleo granola is full of nuts and seeds and is sweetened with a touch of maple syrup. It is the perfect addition to your morning smoothie or yogurt bowl and is wonderful as a snack!
My love for granola is REAL. If you don’t believe me, just take a look here, here, here, or here.
But there’s an issue. Remember that whole ‘I have Celiacs thing’? Yea so most granola contains gluten. And technically you can buy gluten free rolled oats; but of all GF food, oats are one of the most gluten-contaminated gluten free foods.
Sorry for saying gluten so many times. #imtheworst
In addition to the contamination issue, I have noticed that I feel my best when I am not eating grains. My body doesn’t negatively react to them necessarily; but I can certainly tell a difference.
So, I have been on a mission to create the best gluten-free, grain-free, EVERYTHING-free, paleo granola.
And I did it.
I made this granola on Saturday morning and by the time I photographed it around lunch, I had consumed a fair amount – so much so that I am embarrassed to tell you. Ok fine. I ate a cup… yes an entire cup.
The base of this paleo granola is a mixture of nuts and seeds.
And people loved this granola so much, that I STARTED MY OWN GRAIN FREE GRANOLA COMPANY!!
But actually. Now you can buy this granola from me and I’ll ship it right to your door!

I mean, you can totally tell why I ate an entire cup right?!

GIRL yes! i just found grain-free granola at tj’s & would so much rather make it from scratch at home. pinning this NOW. (also…it’s not normal to eat granola one cup at a time??? because i could have sworn….)
I mean… I think it is. And I am 100% making that judgement based on how I eat granola. So yea totally normal ๐
OH EMM GEE! I totally just printed this recipe! <3 I'm taking Grain-free to mean that I can eat all I want!

Do you know the calorie count?
I would like to know the calorie count
Hi Mary, The calorie count is approximately 210 calories per 1/4 cup.
This is straight up crack. My husband and I cannot stop eating it! So much for will power. That flew out the window when this stuff came out the oven! I cannot wait to have a bowl of this in the morning with homemade vanilla Almond Milk! Recipe note: Added a pinch (1/4 t) of salt.
Thank you Jennifer! You just made my day with this comment. I feel exactly the same way – it’s dangerous to have in the house ๐ I would love to hear more about the recipes you and your husband would like to see – can you fill out my reader survey? I would greatly appreciate it! https://goo.gl/forms/DVEm18SOawi3MQR32
