LIVE Kombucha Root Beer Float

Swap out your root beer soda for raw and organic root beer flavored LIVE kombucha for a healthy twist on the classic dessert!

Do you guys drink kombucha?

The first time I had it was quite the unpleasant experience – my sister Katie had gotten into it for the health benefits and had me try a sip of hers. While the flavor was wonderful (ginger – my fave!), she opted for the chia seed variety. And I just cannot do chia seeds in my drinks.

The texture.

No thank you.

I do not want to drink little slimy balls. (so sorry but that is 100% what they are)

Katie has now totally upped her kombucha game and has been brewing her own at home (!!) AND she got my little sister into it AND my mom. I’m still rocking the ‘I don’t have time for that’ excuse and have been sampling all sorts for brands and flavors. Lately I’ve been loving LIVE Kombucha.

Make sure to head on over to my Instagram today for a LIVE giveaway!

LIVE has a wide variety of flavors and many that mimic the flavors of my childhood – Pure Doctor tastes just like Dr. Pepper – Root Beer tastes like root beet (obvi) – and Dreamy Orange tastes like an orange creamsicle.

I think I’m in love.

And if that wasn’t enough, when you pop the top, you are greeted with the most wonderful boost in your day! Monday scaries be gone!

If you’ve been reading HBN for a while, you probably know that I have a pretty serious sweet tooth. And it was that sweet tooth that lead me to turn an incredibly healthy, raw, organic and gluten free drink into dessert.

Life’s all about balance, right? I mean, HBN is all about wholesome eats and sweet treats. So you really should have seen this coming. All you need is a little vanilla ice cream – vanilla bean preferred – and LIVE’s root beer flavored kombucha.

Thank you Ellie for putting together such a AWESOME review of LIVE! I absolutely love your photos and I am a total sucker for a good old root beer float and this version is definitely healthier, but looks like it doesn’t compromise the taste…Cannot wait to try it out! XOXO

Neither had I! But once I saw the root beer flavor, I just knew I had to make a root beer float. It’s SO good and is most definitely healthier for you!

Me too! I would really love to brew my own at home, I just haven’t found the time to do it yet. But I definitely spend too much money on it so it would be really good for my gut and my wallet!
